This was a spur of the moment purchase. I wanted something that I can leave in the car with a lithium primary for emergencies. For that purpose, its great. I've tried it with a 14500 and its really bright. But you can't leave a 14500 in it as the tail cap lights up and it will drain the cell. With NiMH or Lithium primary, the tail cap doesn't light up. I'm hoping this means it won't drain the battery but I suspect I'll find that out when I actually need it.
I'm not a big fan of the silver colour, but for an emergency light, it does make sense as it will be slightly easier to find in the glove box compared to a black one.
There are low/med/high modes available and a turbo but for what I need it for, I suspect it will spend most of its on-time in medium. It does have a strobe feature as well.
It seems quite a solid little light and the switch is great - dead easy to tell what you've pressed.
All in all, a great little light.
